I love this place. I don't get the bad reviews, the staff are amazing and ultra kind, the food is kick ass and dang, their soups and broths are 100% on point. Their garlic sprout panchan is also amazinggggg.

I can only speak to the gomtang and the kimchis, but this place is legit!! The only downside is that it's a bit pricey (~$25 for the soup w meats), but the flavor is so good. The radish kimchi is also amazing. There's already noodles in the broth, and you also get a side of rice. Would definitely come back to try more things on the menu! Happy they're open till midnight as well.

I came here with my daughter, my best friend and her son on a Sunday around 1pm. My daughter wanted to try cold noodles so we came here since it was near a dessert spot I wanted my best friend to try. There wasn't a wait when we got there so we were seated right away. We ordered the Kalbi and Naengmyun (kbbq short ribs and the cold noodle soup), the fried chicken wings and the fried dumpling. When we got our order of the cold noodles, I looked at our server ready to ask a million questions on how to eat it but before I could say a word she took two sauces ( I think vinegar and mustard?) drizzled it on top, mixed it and even cut the noodles for us! When she was done she said "Korean style!" I wasn't too sure if I would like cold noodles, but when I tried it- OMG YESSS! It was a hot day too and the noodles were so yummy and refreshing! We LOVED it! I'm ready to go back to order it again! The fried chicken wings wings and dumplings were great too! both were crispy and full of flavor. The serving size for what we ordered was enough to feed the 4 of us and still have room for dessert! 10/10 would recommend!

This was such a lovely experience. The woman who took our order and brought it over was like a mom/auntie. She cut our noodles, added the sauce to our food and put it some in a small bowl for me to eat. My friend was like use this mustard for your soup and she was like ah ah no for my friend only (she got a different dish) and was like vinegar only for you. Did I understand a single thing she said, no. But did I UNDERSTAND what she said? Yes. Our group was pretty loud and they were still very understanding and kind to us. Although, my friend who goes there once in a while said that was the nicest she's ever seen her/them before and normally it's very curt she still goes back because the food is absolutely heavenly. The food portion are so large and worth the price. The food itself was absolutely amazing. The chicken wings were the most mid, despite being crunchy and perfectly cooked because everything else was so gosh darn amazing. I've never had cold noodles before, but the noodles were perfectly chewy and every bite was a bit of heaven. Would absolutely come back and recommend.

One of my favorites places in Santa Clara for honestly not the most outstanding reasons. I just really love their gom tang. My dad says their kimchi is the best he's had in the area. However, it is quite expensive and prices have definitely gone up over the past years. It does hurt the wallet a bit when majority of the items on their menu starts at $20+. My sister ordered the Mul Naeng Myun once and her main feedback was while the portion of noodles was large, the toppings were very minimal. The aunties in the store can be a bit brusk sometimes but overall they are nice. The store has a very authentic/family owned feel to it.

I have been wanting to try gom tang forever, and we finally made the trip to santa clara to try it. There are a few different gom tang places in the bay but we were in Santa Clara already. I ordered the sukeo gomtang ( gomtang with intestines ) , and we also got the spicy chicken. The banchan here is great, kimchi, green onion, and radish are all super tasty and fresh. They give you scissors to cut the banchan with. The gom tang came out faster than the spicy chicken. The chicken was sizzling and hot. I really enjoyed my gom tang !!! There was so much flavor and essence in the soup. You can tell the soup is simmered for a long time because it gelatinized pretty quickly when we took it home. The ladies who work here don't seem to speak much English, but more than enough to understand and take our order. They were friendly and welcoming and also helped me to pack my soup to go.

Cute mom and pop type of restaurant. Service started off slow but once we got going the food order came fast. Food was good so we would definitely give them another try. Best kimchi I had in a long time. Only photo I took was of the friend dumplings but we also had the beef Bulgogi and bibimbap. Four stars bc the food we ordered along with the complimentary kimchi was good. At first we felt out of place and the servers didn't seem to care or notice it was our first time, so communication on their part was lacking. I had to keep asking for service. That's why I took off a star. Side note - the parking is horrible here and super packed! I was lucky to find street parking after four loops around the parking lot.

I've always passed by this place whenever I was in town and so I'm happy I got to try it! It always looked like a source of comfort food for many people whenever I walked by. Went on a Sunday for dinner with a party of 3 and we were seated immediately. There was not much people since I'm assuming it's the holidays. Parking was easy as well since it's in a decently size plaza! The prices were a bit steep compared to other Korean comfort food restaurants. Us three decided to split their budae jjigae and it was enough for all of us! This was about $50 split amongst 3 people. Definitely more pricey than other places I've been to. Overall, it's a good place for comfort food, but I do agree it's a bit pricey for what it offers, but the workers are all really sweet and portion sizings are pretty big as well!
